Airplane makes emergency landing at Perryville Airport

PERRYVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) – An airplane with four people on board made an emergency landing Tuesday morning at the Perryville Airport.
The Perryville airport manager received a call from Kansas City Center advising of an emergency call that a twin-prop aircraft had lost power to one of the engines.
The Perryville Fire Department was dispatched at 10:29 a.m. to the airport to stand by.
Before firefighters arrived, they were told the pilot was burning fuel before trying to land.
The airplane made a safe landing at 10:47 a.m.
Assistant Perryville Fire Chief Garrett L. Schott says no one was injured.
The plane was flying from Lexington, Kentucky to Wichita, Kansas.
The Chester Fire Department assisted the Perryville Fire Department.
