SESSER, Ill. (KBSI) – Sesser police warn the public of a scam.

They say the scam involves the Publisher’s Clearinghouse.

A check is sent wanting the recipient to cash it and send money back.

Police say it looks very official, but no true raffle requires you to send money back.

Report fraud attempts through the Office of the Illinois Attorney General website.
