Inmate mistakenly released from Scott County Jail back in custody

SCOTT COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – An inmate who was mistakenly released from the Scott County Jail last week is back in custody.

Corvin Turner was released more than a week ago on July 3, according to Scott County Sheriff Wes Drury.

He was found at a family member’s house on Magnolia Street in Sikeston.

Turner faces assault and unlawful use of a weapon charges.
