Victim identified in deadly Cape Girardeau shooting
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Police released the identity of the man who died after he was shot early Sunday morning in Cape Girardeau.
Linard Thomas, 42, of Cape Girardeau died around 1:08 a.m. on Sunday, July 15.
Cape Girardeau Police received a report around 12:34 a.m. on Sunday that a person entered an area hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
During the investigation officers determined the location of the shooting to be inside 417 Broadway which is called Soak. Bath. Body. Beauty store.
No arrests have been made. The Cape Girardeau/Bollinger County Major Case Squad is investigating the case.
