Fatal shooting in Trigg County under investigation

CADIZ, KY (KBSI) – A shooting left one person dead after 12:00 a.m. on July 20.

Investigators report a man entered a residence on Linda Lane armed with a weapon. After forcing his way into a room he was shot by the homeowner and pronounced dead at the scene. There is no danger to the public concerning the isolated incident and the investigation is ongoing.
