Wanted man arrested in Lone Oak

LONE OAK, Ky. (KBSI) – A wanted man was arrested after sheriff’s deputies saw him driving in the Lone Oak area on July 24.

Jason Chapman, 47 of Paducah faces charges of possession of a controlled substance – 1st degree/1st offense – methamphetamine Class D felony, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess – Class A misdemeanor and possession of open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle prohibited violation. Arrest warrants were also served.

McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies were patrolling the Lone Oak area trying to find a man who was wanted on five counts of an Emergency Protection Order (EPO) violation.

Deputy Latta saw the vehicle on Blandville Road and conducted a traffic stop.

Chapman was arrested.

Deputy Latta deployed K9 Bobi and searched the vehicle. Deputies say methamphetamine along with paraphernalia was found.

Open containers of alcohol were also found within reach of Chapman.

Corporal Little assisted in the drug charges.

Chapman was taken to the McCracken County Jail.
