Fire damages home in Holland, MO

HOLLAND, Mo. (KBSI) – Firefighters put out a fire at a home in Holland in Pemiscot County on Thursday.

Steele firefighters responded to a house fire on 2nd Street around 1:50 p.m.

The fire is suspected to be electrical in nature. It spread through the roof before it was brought under control and put out.

Firefighters say the home suffered substantial damage.

They say a quick 911 call played a crucial role in getting emergency services to the scene in time, helping to prevent even more extensive damage.
