Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center to hold Back to School Drive Thru Immunization Clinics
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center is having Back to School Drive Thru Immunization Clinics.
There will be at Cape Girardeau County Health Department at 1121 Linden on the following dates.
- August 12 from 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
- August 19 from 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
- August 26 from 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Register for the drive-thru immunization clinics by going to capecountyhealth.com. Select the Calendar tab and click on the desired date/event.
Appointments are preferred but not necessary for the Drive-Thru Clinics.
The clinics are for Kindergarten, 8th and 12th grade students.
There will be no cost for services as they will bill insurance or use the VFC (Vaccines For Children) program to cover the uninsured.
The clinics will be located behind the health department at 1121 Linden Street.
Clients can simply drive around to the back of the building and staff will be set up back there to give the kiddos shots while they are in the car.
Parents are to bring shot records and insurance cards.
Regular Children’s Immunization Days inside the Health Department are Monday and Wednesday.
