Planned power outage for part of Jackson on Aug. 13

JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – Jackson city workers are planning a power outage on Tuesday, August 13 so crews can work to replace defective power equipment.
Weather permitting, residential customers in Trail Ridge and Eastridge Place Subdivisions in Jackson will be impacted by a planned power outage on Tuesday, August 13 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Electric crews will work to replace defective power equipment in the 2400 block of Old Cape Road.
Those affected include the following subdivisions:
- All of the homes in Trail Ridge Subdivision., including customers on Whitney Jean Drive, Drew Ave. Shannon Ct. Leigh Ann Ct., Smith Tr. Trail Ridge Road and Old Cape Road.
- All of the homes in Eastridge Place Subdivision, including customers on Union Station Road and Sierra Court
- A portion of the Kimble Woods Subdivision, including homes addressed as 808, 830, 920, 986, 947, and 948 Kimbelwoods Drive
- Seven homes along Old Cape Road addressed as 2505, 2525, 2535, 2625, 2635, 2655, and 2675 Old Cape Road
All drivers are asked to always use extreme caution when traveling in and near the work zone and to obey all warning signs.
