Wanted Georgia man arrested in Sesser after traffic stop

SESSER, Ill. (KBSI) – A man wanted for armed robbery in Georgia was arrested after a traffic stop in Sesser, Illinois.

Marcus Ware was arrested following a traffic stop in Sesser, Illinois.

Ware was wanted for armed robbery in Fulton County, Georgia. Ware was arrested during a traffic stop Saturday morning, August 10.

Sesser police say Ware lied about his date of birth and then tried to run away on foot.

Police say Ware will face charges in Franklin County for resisting arrest, obstruction of identification and obstruction of justice.
