1 dead in crash on Illinois 127 in Union County
UNION COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – A person died in a crash in Union County on Wednesday, September 4.
Someone driving a 2016 Hyundai drove off of the roadway and struck a tree on Illinois 127 near Mt. Glen Road, according to Illinois State Police. It happened around 11:38 a.m.
The driver and sole occupant in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the driver has not been released.
