Threat against Jackson schools is not credible

JACKSON, MO (KBSI) – A threat was made online against the Jackson R2 Public School District on Friday causing the school to close its doors on Sept. 13.

The Jackson County Police Department found the threat to be non-credible and that the person who created the social media post was a juvenile. The Jackson Police Department says if come across any posts or have information regarding the threats to contact Courage2Report, Jackson R2, or the Jackson Police Department.
