Several adults arrested after minors found in back of U-haul

WEBSTER COUNTY, MO (KBSI) — On Sunday, September 29th, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper pulled over a U-Haul near the 100-mile marker of Interstate 44.

Through an investigation, the trooper learned there were minors in the back of the truck. The minors between the ages of 2 to 14 years old.

Troopers determined the children were family members of the adults.

The parents were taken into custody with pending child endangerment charges; all the kids had no medical issues and are expected to be okay at this time.
