Traffic stop leads to arrest of Florida man
McCracken County, Ky. (KBSI) – A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Florida man.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office on October 4, 2024, they conducted a traffic stop on I24 around the 9-mile marker.
Deputies pulled over a 2007 Kia Sorento. The vehicle was operated by a 38-year-old male identified as Zakkary Harper from St. Petersburg, Florida.
After a quick investigation deputies located approximately 14 grams of Cocaine inside the vehicle that Harper was operating.
Harper faces charges of:
-Careless Driving
-No Operators License
-Trafficking in Cont. Substance 1st degree, 1st offense (Cocaine) over 4 grams
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Harper was arrested and transported to the McCracken County Jail.
