Building Futures: Missouri Construction Association hosts Career Day

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Missouri Chapter of the Construction Association recently hosted a Construction Career Day, attracting approximately 2,500 high school students from 69 regional schools.
The event, held on October 8 from 9 am to 2 pm, provided an immersive experience for students interested in the construction industry.
Fifty-six industry exhibitors offered interactive displays, while representatives from 40 sponsor organizations shared valuable insights.
The event highlighted Missouri’s current construction climate, focusing on workforce needs and available training opportunities.
Industry officials and experts were on hand to provide guidance and answer questions, giving students a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s vast career paths.
