Former Missouri State Rep. Steve Hodges passes away at 75
EAST PRAIRIE, Mo., (KBSI)- Steve Hodges Sr., a respected community leader from East Prairie, Missouri, passed away on October 9, 2024, at age 75.
He represented Southeast Missouri in the state legislature for 8 years (2007-2014).
Hodges was a devoted family man, businessman, and philanthropist.
He owned and operated Tru-Value IGA with his father until 2005.
He also served on the East Prairie School Board and supported local youth activities.
A visitation will be held at Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church (106 E. Washington St, East Prairie, MO 63845) from 1-2 pm, followed by a memorial service at 2 pm.
