Warm and windy Wednesday, storms likely Thursday

Another warm and windy day is expected for Wednesday. In fact, the early morning low of 64 is what our average high should be this time of year!

We’ll top out in the lower 80s by Wednesday afternoon. If we do hit 83 in Cape, that would be a new record high for the day!

Other record highs for Wednesday include:
Paducah: 84 set in 2016
Carbondale: 85 set in 1950
Poplar Bluff: 91 set in 1924

After the warm and windy Wednesday, a cold front will blow through giving us a chance for storms Thursday (Halloween) morning.

The rain should be done by early afternoon, leaving us with a decent amount of rainfall for some.
