Poplar Bluff shooting leaves one man in critical condition

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KBSI) – A man is in critical condition after suffering multiple gunshot wounds.

According to the Poplar Bluff Police Department on November 4, 2024, at 5:24 pm officers responded to the area of Illinois Avenue and Iowa Avenue for a report of gunshots.

Upon arriving to the area officers located a 34-year-old male walking down the street who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transferred to Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital where he was then transferred to a Cape Girardeau hospital.

He is in critical condition at this time.

The suspect or suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
