KSP investigating murder in Almo

ALMO, KY (KBSI) — A dead man was found beside a roadway in the Almo community of Calloway County on Tuesday.

Kentucky State Police received a call from Calloway County Dispatch just before 8 p.m.

KSP troopers and detectives responded to the 3800 block of Almo-Shiloh Road, where they found the body.

The victim has been identified as 34-year-old David A. Dicke of Paducah. An autopsy was performed, and it determined Dicke died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Following a further investigation, 43-year-old Shelby B. Junior from Dyersburg, Tennessee, has been charged with murder. He was arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Jail.
