Police make arrest after the body of a Paducah man was found on roadside covered in gunshot wounds

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A man’s body was found on the side of the road covered in gunshot wounds.

According to Calloway County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday November 5, 2024, their dispatch received a call of a body being found on a roadway in the Almo community of Calloway County.

Kentucky State Police troopers and detectives responded to the call on the 3800 block of Almo-Shiloh Road where they located the body of a deceased male.

The male was identified as 34-year-old David A. Dicke of Paducah, Kentucky.

An autopsy was performed, determining Dicke died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.

After investigation it was found that Shelby B. Junior, a 43-year-old male of Dyersburg, Tennessee, will face charges of Murder.

Shelby B. Junior was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Jail.
