Hayti officers investigating a man for soliciting a minor

HAYTI, MO (KBSI) — On Saturday morning, officers with the Hayti police force were informed of a possible illegal solicitation of a minor on social media.

Hayti officers opened an investigation into the alleged solicitation.

Through the investigation, they were able to identify a 61-year-old white male from Hayti.

A search warrant on the 700 block of East Moore Street was executing. Multiple electronic devices were seized as evidence.

The investigation will continue with multiple suspects involved.

No information about the suspect or victim will be released at this time.
