SEMO Kicker DC Pippin wins Stats Preforms National Special Teams Player of the Week

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – SEMO kicker DC Pippin has been named states performs,  National Special Teams Player of the Week after a career-high 18 points in SEMO’s 54-45 win over Western Illinois.

Pippin connected on 4-of-4 field goals in the win, connecting from 43,20,40, and 34 yards and hit on 6 PAT’s. The four FGs made matched a career-high and tied him for the third-most by a FCS player this season.

Pippin also had 11 kickoffs for an Average of 55 yards per kick resulting in four touchbacks. he lead the FCS in field goals per game with 2.36 and is fourth in scoring with 10.1 points per game.

Pippin is SEMO’s first Stats Preform FCS National Player of the Week Honoree since Geno Hess was named the award winner for Offensive Player of the week on November 20, 2022.
