Cape Girardeau under another boil water advisory

CAPE GIRARDEAU Mo. (KBSI) – A 12” water main break has occurred on Cape LaCroix Road near Boutin and Deerfield. 

Please avoid the area as crews perform repairs. Impacts to water pressure and fire suppression are possible until the main is stabilized. 

There are 1,120 addresses in the northern area of the city are now under a precautionary boil water advisory until Dec. 31 at 6 p.m. unless informed otherwise. 

Additional updates will be published as they are available. A boil water advisory in the affected area is forthcoming.
