Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office saying “just take it slow”

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office urging residents to drive slow after they respond to crash.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media that they responded to a crash report this morning Sunday January 5.

They say a mustang driving about 70 miles per hour by an out-of-town driver hit ice and crashed.

No injuries were reported.

The Sheriff’s Department says roads in the area are slick but passable on the main State Routes and Interstates.

They say drivers should use caution if they do get out and “just take it slow”.
