Jackson city officials reinforce Snow Route Proclamation ahead of more winter weather

JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – Jackson City officials have again issued a Snow Route Proclamation effective at 9:00 am, Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Residents who have vehicles parked on designated snow routes in Jackson will have 12 hours from that time to move all vehicles off the street or to a non-designated snow route to allow city crews to plow the entire width of the roadway throughout the weather event.

After 9:00 pm, on Thursday, January 9th, vehicles that are not moved may be ticketed or towed to allow for plowing.

Proclamation will end when the storm is over, the street has been cleared, and the city has notified the local media outlets that the proclamation has concluded.
