Bald Knob Cross of Peace temporarily closed due to severe weather conditions

ALTO PASS, Ill., (KBSI)- Due to the severe weather, the facility’s grounds and welcome center will remain closed until conditions improve.

The roads are currently impassable, with downed trees, electrical lines and a thick layer of ice and snow. Staff will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Visitors are urged to prioritize their safety and stay warm until the facility reopens.
