Team delivers 170 meals despite power outage

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI)- Despite a power outage, staff at the American Legion Post 133 scrambled to prepare 170 meals for electric company crews by 7 p.m., relying on cell phones and a single floodlight for illumination.

Gas-powered fryers and stoves enabled the team to meet the deadline.

Kudos to the staff for their dedication and hard work.
