Convicted felon arrested for failing to report to jail

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill., (KBSI) — Authorities apprehended Tonya L. Dunning, a convicted felon, on Jan. 15, 2025, after she failed to report to the Williamson County Jail as ordered.

Dunning was sentenced to five days in jail on Dec. 19, 2024. Deputies located her operating a vehicle on Illinois Route 13 and conducted a traffic stop.

Dunning was cited for escape and driving with an expired license. She was taken into custody and transported to the Williamson County Jail.
