Marion Connects receives Mayor’s service award

MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — The Marion Connects team received the Mayor’s Service Award at the annual Marion Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet.

Marion Connects, a 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2023, has quickly become a vital part of the community, fostering connectedness and creativity.

The organization’s mission to support local businesses and bring people together has enhanced the city’s sense of community and contributed to its welcoming atmosphere.
