(KBSI) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced that a Marshall County highway maintenance crew will begin repairing potholes along Interstate 24 westbound starting Tuesday night.
A mobile work caravan will operate in the left lane from mile marker 30, east of the Tennessee River Bridge, to mile marker 17 near the Marshall-McCracken County line. Work is scheduled between 8:30 p.m. and midnight. Drivers are advised to use caution and expect possible delays.
In Missouri, Route 114 in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane as crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation replace a culvert under the roadway. The affected section runs from Route 25 to Park Street in Dexter.
Weather permitting, work will take place from Wednesday, Jan. 29, through Thursday, Jan. 30, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily. The work zone will be marked with signs, and motorists should plan for potential slowdowns.
