PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — A 19-year-old St. Mary man was killed in a crash late Monday night on U.S. 61 in Perry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the man was driving a 2013 Chevrolet pickup truck south on U.S. 61 north of Route NN when he lost control, and the vehicle went off the left side of the road.

The truck struck a stationary car, flipped and hit three other stationary vehicles before landing on the porch of a home, the patrol said.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:34 a.m. Tuesday by an emergency medical technician.

Both the truck and the car it struck sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene.

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office and the Perryville Police Department assisted the highway patrol at the scene.
