Missing Carbondale teen found safe

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — A 14-year-old girl reported missing in Carbondale on Feb. 4, 2025, has been found safe and in good health.

Demyla T. Flowers was located after the Carbondale Police Department requested public assistance in finding her.

Police had described Flowers as 5 feet tall, weighing 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a pink bonnet, black hooded sweatshirt, and pink and black pajama pants.

The police department thanked the public for their assistance in locating Flowers.
