Water outage rescheduled for Tuesday in Perry County, Ill.

PERRY COUNTY, Ill., (KBSI) — A planned water outage for repairs to the Rend Lake Conservancy District water system has been rescheduled for Tuesday.

The outage, initially set for Monday, will now begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday, affecting customers in Perry County served by the Village of Tamaroa, Du Quoin, Dowell and Greenwood Creek Nation.

Customers may experience low or no water pressure and are encouraged to conserve water if possible. A boil water order is anticipated once service is restored.
