UPDATE: Flooding closes multiple roads in Western Kentucky’s District 1

KENTUCKY, (KBSI) – High water is affecting numerous roads in Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1, with many roads closed due to flooding.
Motorists are advised to check traffic conditions before traveling at The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet urged drivers to exercise extreme caution and never drive through flooded roadways.
A list of affected roads in District 1 includes:
Ballard County: KY 62 closed due to high water.
Calloway County: KY 464/Almo Road closed due to high water.
Carlisle County: Multiple roads closed or affected by high water, including KY 1820, KY 1628 and U.S. 62.
Fulton County: KY 94 closed in two separate locations due to high water and a slide caused by flooding.
Graves County: KY 408 and KY 1241 closed due to high water.
Hickman County: Multiple roads closed or affected by high water, including KY 123, KY 3061 and KY 780.
Livingston County: No roads currently closed, but several open with high water and signs posted.
Lyon County: KY 1943 and KY 819 closed due to high water.
Marshall County: Multiple roads closed or affected by high water, including KY 1462, KY 1949 and U.S. 641.
McCracken County: Multiple roads closed or affected by high water, including KY 1255, KY 339 and KY 787.
Trigg County: Multiple roads closed or affected by high water, including KY 1507, KY 128 and KY 525.
