(KBSI) – Several roads in Western Kentucky remain closed due to high water and icy conditions following this weekend’s flooding event and Monday’s snowfall.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reported that some roads have reopened, but others remain closed until flood-related debris is cleared and icy patches are addressed.
In Crittenden County, Ky 1917 is closed due to high water.
In Livingston County Ky, 917 at Tucker Temple Road is closed from 6.8-7.3 Mile Markers.
In Lyon County, Ky 819 is closed and in Marshall County, Ky 58 is closed due to pavement undermined by flooding.
The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to replace a bridge on northbound U.S. Route 67 over Otter Creek in Wayne County.
The bridge, located between County Road 547 and County Road 546, is slated for replacement with work potentially beginning in July.
The project is expected to take approximately four months to complete.
