KENNETT, Mo., (KBSI)— Strong winds have knocked down trees across Dunklin County, creating hazardous driving conditions.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and remain alert for potential hazards while traveling through the area.

The Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Services are urging residents to report any extensive damage or traffic safety concerns by calling 573-888-2424 or 573-888-2409.

Johnson Island Road south of Kennett is currently closed due to debris.

Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes.
