Sikeston man convicted of murder to be sentenced Monday

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — A Sikeston man convicted of murder is scheduled to be sentenced Monday.
The sentencing date was originally set for March 6th but was moved to March 10th.
In January, a Scott County jury found Fabayan Larry guilty of first-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping and armed criminal action in the death of 49-year-old Carolyn Hann.
Hann’s body was discovered in September 2023 after authorities investigated a reported missing person. An autopsy revealed she suffered stab wounds, blunt force trauma and suffocation from tape wrapped around her head.
