Kentucky man arrested on multiple charges after traffic stop

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A traffic stop on US-60 West in the Ledbetter Community on March 5 led to the arrest of a Kentucky man on multiple charges.

Hushton Burton, 41, of Eddyville, was taken into custody after Deputy Caleb Kindred of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office discovered four active warrants for his arrest out of Marshall, McCracken, and Caldwell Counties.

Further investigation revealed Burton was in possession of suspected methamphetamine, Suboxone strips, and drug paraphernalia, leading to additional charges.

Burton was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), second-degree possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged at the McCracken County Jail.
