Teen motorcyclist injured in Beltline Overpass crash

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — The Paducah Police Department responded to a single-vehicle collision on the Beltline Overpass after receiving multiple reports.

Upon arrival, officers found off-duty nurses and emergency medical technicians performing CPR on a 16-year-old male motorcyclist.

The investigation revealed that the teenager, operating a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle, failed to negotiate a curve and struck the curb.

The juvenile was transported to a local hospital and later transferred to an out-of-state hospital for treatment.

The Paducah Police Department Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash, which closed the roadway for approximately three hours.
