Maritime training program prepares Mariners for real-world challenges

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) – A recent Deckhand orientation showcased the effectiveness of a maritime training program, which simulates real vessel conditions to build confidence and preparedness.

Trainees practiced using a new confined space hatch and ladder, gaining hands-on experience in navigating tight spaces.

The training pad’s continuous upgrades support the program’s goal of ensuring mariners are fully equipped to handle vessel operations.
