Centerstone’s Jennifer Thomason joins National Commission on Community Responder Programs

ALTON, Ill., (KBSI) — Centerstone announces Jennifer Thomason, regional chief operating officer for Illinois, has been selected to join the prestigious Expanding First Response 2025 Commission.
This national commission, hosted by the Council of State Governments Justice Center, brings together experts to enhance community responder programs nationwide.
The commission, launched in 2023, aims to drive meaningful change in first response systems, ensuring communities have necessary resources to address crises effectively and compassionately.
Thomason’s selection highlights her dedication to improving crisis care and advocating for sustainable solutions.
As a commission member, Thomason will contribute to research, policy recommendations, and best practices integrating community responders into traditional first response frameworks. ”
