GCMS students get hands-on experience at MSU Broadcasting Studios

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — Students from Graves County Middle School’s Talon News program visited Murray State University’s MSU News Broadcasting Studios on March 28.

The students toured the studios, home to MSU TV-11, the university’s student cable station, and participated in a mock news production, assembling a version of “MSU 2Nite.”

The trip aimed to introduce students to the world of broadcast journalism and provide hands-on experience. GCMS’s Talon News program has 20 students who produce and appear in daily episodes featuring school announcements and events.
