Harrah’s Metropolis Hotel and Casino closes temporarily due to Ohio River flooding

METROPOLIS, Ill., (KBSI) – Harrah’s Metropolis Hotel and Casino closed temporarily at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 6, due to rising water levels on the Ohio River.

Due to the flooding the casino has not re-opened its doors since.

The National Water Prediction Service predicts the Ohio River at Paducah will crest at 50.5 feet on Wednesday, April 16.
