Cape Girardeau man arrested after allegedly firing shots at home

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – 38-year-old Cape Girardeau man is in custody after allegedly firing multiple shots at a home on Friday, April 4.
Jimmy Norfleet is accused of banging on the door and attempting to enter the home through a window but was prevented from doing so by a dresser.
According to court records, Norfleet allegedly smashed the doorbell camera and fired four shots from his vehicle after realizing he couldn’t gain entry into the home.
Norfleet is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, first-degree burglary, and property damage. He is being held at the Cape Girardeau County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
