Jackson High School business department attends annual meeting
JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) – The Jackson High School Business Department attended the annual Southeast Area Business Teacher Meeting at the Cape Public Library on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
Teachers met with Shad Burner from SE MO REDI to discuss business partnerships and economic growth in Cape County.
They also met with Shannon Farris and the Cape PD Crisis Response Unit to learn about their work and how to implement crisis response strategies in the classroom.
Tonya Skinner presented a session on using Artificial Intelligence to create rubrics.
Sophia Crabtree was elected to serve as President-elect for the Southeast Business and Economic Association (SEBEA) for 2025-26.
The meeting provided an opportunity for Jackson High School business teachers to network with 22 other business teachers from the area.
