Maintenance project to affect Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – A maintenance project on the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge is set to begin on April 28.

The bridge will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction during the work.

The project, expected to be completed by November 1, may be impacted by weather.

The bridge spans the Mississippi River between Cape Girardeau and Alexander County, Illinois.
