Western Kentucky roads closed due to high water reports

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) — Roadways across Western Kentucky are beginning to reopen as flood waters recede, but some roads are still flooded. 

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1, the following roads are closed as of 11:15 a.m., April 21.

Crittenden County

KY 1917 is CLOSED with high water at the 1.5 MP (Wolf Creek). This is between Wolf Creek Road and Roberts Road.

KY 91 is CLOSED with high water at about the 15 MP leading up to the Cave-In-Rock ferry. The ferry is closed.

KY 132 is CLOSED with high water at the 1.973 MP.

KY 135 is CLOSED with high water between the 4.15 MP (Sawmill Holler).

Fulton County

KY 1129 is CLOSED with high water from the 2.378 MP at Maddox Road to the 4.058 MP at KY 94.

KY 1129 is CLOSED with high water from the 4.058 MP at KY 94 to 9.639 MP at KY 239. The road has been closed longer-term between the 7.5 to 8 MP due to bridge construction.

KY 1354, the road to the Dorena-Hickman Ferry, is CLOSED with high water. The ferry is closed.

NOTE: KY 94/E. Carroll Street remains closed due to a slide near the 12.7 MP in the city of Hickman. Conditions have worsened since it was first closed due to a February flash flood.

Graves County

KY 483 is CLOSED at about the 0.6 MP due cross-drain damage caused by flash flooding. This is between KY 131 and KY 427. The road will be closed until repairs can be made.

KY 2422 is CLOSED at the 5.3 MP between KY 129 and Wingo Road due to damage to the bridge approach caused by flash flooding.

Hickman County

KY 123 is CLOSED with high water between the 14-16 MP in the Hailwell Corner area.

KY 944 is CLOSED from the 0-1 MP due to a slide on the shoulder caused by flash flooding. This is west of Fulgham off KY 58 E.

KY 3061 is CLOSED between the 5.992-6.910 MP where pavement has washed out due to flash flooding. This is at the intersection with KY 307.

Livingston County

KY 137/River Road is CLOSED with high water between the 5.4-15.2 MP. – NEW/UPDATED

KY 133/Lola Road open from the 18.3-18.8 MP, near the intersection with KY 137/River Road. – CLEAR

Lyon County

KY 819 is open at the 2.3 MP (Panther Creek). – CLEAR

McCracken County

KY 1255/Bonds Road is CLOSED with high water between the 0.0 MP at KY 348/Hardmoney Road and the 2.3 MP at KY 450/Oaks.

KY 3075/Lydon Road is CLOSED with high water from the 0-2 MP, from KY 1954/Husbands Road to KY 450/Oaks Road.

KY 1954/Husbands Road is CLOSED with high water from the 0-3 MP, from KY 358/Hardmoney Road to Clarkline Road. This also blocks the KY 999/KY 1954 intersection.

KY 999/Krebs Station Road is CLOSED with high water from the 3.8-4.2 MP from the railroad tracks to KY 1954.

Trigg County

KY 126/Buffalo Cerulean Road is CLOSED with high water from the 0-1 MP (Horse Creek).

KY 139/South Road is CLOSED with high water at the 13 MP, just south of KY 545/New Hope Road.

KY 276 is CLOSED with high water between the 13-14 MM.

There are no state roads reported closed due to high water or flood damage in the following counties: Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, and Marshall.
