(KBSI) — A section of Route FF in Cape Girardeau County will be closed Tuesday, April 29, as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.

The closure will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, on a stretch of road between County Road 435 and County Road 436 near Fruitland.

In a separate project, a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane along U.S. 45/Lone Oak Road in McCracken County, starting April 16.

The lane restriction, expected to last about two weeks, will occur near the intersection of KY 1286/S. Friendship Road, directly in front of Hardee’s in Lone Oak.

Crews will remove existing asphalt and replace it with new concrete pavement, shifting traffic from one lane to the other as needed.
