Free ‘Stop the Bleed’ training sessions offered in Southern Illinois
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS, (KBSI) — The Southern 7 Health Department’s Medical Reserve Corps is offering free “Stop The Bleed” training sessions in May for Southern Illinois residents.
The training sessions, open to anyone 18 and older, will be held:
— May 1, Goreville School Cafeteria, Goreville, 6-7:30 p.m.
— May 15, Waldo Baptist Church, Metropolis, 6-7:30 p.m.
— May 19, Pope County High School Community Room, Golconda, 6-7:30 p.m.
Each session will last 1-1.5 hours, and participants will receive a free “Stop The Bleed” starter kit. Pre-registration is required.
