Cape Girardeau county relocates to renovated courthouse

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) –  Cape Girardeau County has moved several elected officials offices to the renovated 1908 Courthouse, 100 Court St., Jackson. After many years of working with two court houses they now welcome the newly renovated 1908 Courthouse as their new home.

A $9.6 Million dollar renovations comes to life.

The relocated offices include:

— Public Administrator, first floor
— Auditor, Treasurer, Human Resources and Road & Bridge, second floor
— Commission Chambers, Commissioners, Clerk of the County and Elections, third floor

Regular commission meetings are now held Mondays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. in the new Commission Chambers.
